  • Department: Production / Cold Forming
  • Reports to: Shift Supervisor / Production Manager
  • Location: [Kaohsiung, Taiwan ]

Role Overview
As a Cold Heading Specialist, you are the backbone of our manufacturing process. You won't just "run a machine"—you will manage a high-speed, multi-station forging process that transforms steel wire into high-precision automotive and industrial fasteners. You are responsible for setup, precision adjustment, and ensuring every part meets our "Zero-Defect" standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Setup & Changeover: Perform complete setups on multi-station cold headers (e.g., Sacma, National, or Jern Yao). This includes installing dies, punches, and transfer fingers.
  • Precision Tuning: Adjust feed lengths, knockout strokes, and timing to ensure parts meet technical drawings within tolerances of .
  • Quality Vigilance: Conduct first-piece inspections and hourly checks using micrometers, calipers, and optical gauging systems.
  • Tooling Management: Monitor tool wear and proactively replace dies/punches to prevent production downtime or part galling.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve "short-feeding," "clipping," or "cracking" issues in real-time.

Technical Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years in cold heading or high-volume metal forming.
  • Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and interpret complex GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) technical drawings.
  • Tooling Knowledge: Understanding of tungsten carbide dies and high-speed steel (HSS) punches.
  • Metrology: Proficiency with precision measuring tools (Vernier, Thread Ring Gauges, etc.).

The "Ideal Candidate" Profile

  • The "Ear": You can hear a machine's rhythm and tell if a punch is slightly out of alignment just by the sound.
  • The "Hands": High manual dexterity for handling small parts and heavy tooling.
  • The "Mindset": You take pride in a clean workstation. You understand that a dirty machine leads to a faulty part.

Why Join the Forge?

  • Technical Mastery: Work with the most advanced 5- and 6-station headers in the industry.
  • Career Pathing: We promote from within. Today’s Specialist is tomorrow’s Tool Designer or Production Lead.
  • Safety Excellence: We provide top-tier PPE and maintain a climate-controlled, high-safety industrial environment.
  • Performance Bonuses: Competitive pay with "Efficiency & Quality" incentives.
